Pritee in Bangladesh:
Pritee is the youngest of 5 daughters in a disadvantaged, underprivileged, poor family. Her father is a share cropper. A few years ago, Bangladesh Nazarene Mission (BNM) established the Arifpur CDC through the funding of Compassion 575. Through the help of the local pastor, Pritee was given the opportunity to study. From the CDC, she receives educational materials (books, exercise books), a school bag, and school uniform, as well as a nutritious meal at lunchtime. Every Sunday she attends Sunday School and learns songs about Jesus, dance, prayer, and Bible stories. All those things encourage her to study properly and help her to grow spiritually, physically and mentally. In fact, Pritee has passed the Primary annual examination in 1st division.

BNM is committed to serving the poorest of the poor, especially the children. The main vision of BNM is Holistic Development through education. BNM is achieving this goal through the CDC program. Compassion 575 is a proud sponsor of the Arifpur CDC. Please see this short video of David Argabright’s recent visit there. See http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u0RVrJPM1AQ

David and Sharon Argabright have just completed a 2,012 mile bicycle ride to bring awareness and raise funds to sponsor children in CDCs in South Asia. This short video was made after their arrival in Key West, and includes exciting ride footage but also footage of the children currently being sponsored by Compassion575.

Special thanks to the leaders from NCM – South Asia for their prayers and support. Also, appreciation is given to Al and Carrie Fiedler, and Ted Diehr and Chris Jungman for riding with David along to journey.

The end of the ride from Nashville to Key West placed David and Sharon only 90 miles from Cuba. Thank you for your prayers and support. More information and online giving is available at http://www.compassion575.com/

On April 22, I posted a photo of the children at the new Barakothe CDC in rural eastern Nepal. The photo attached shows these children praying for us during the 2,012 mile ride from Nashville to Key West. God has been faithful to answer prayers and we give HIm all the glory.

This new CDC was funded by Compassion 575. Please visit our website at

Arrival at Key West, FL after 2,012 mile bicycle ride for NCM-South Asia. At this bell bouy, we are only 90 miles from Cuba. Sharon and I were met by Karen and Paul Sciacchitano and Tom and Mary White. These 2 couples from White Stone CON loved us, fed us, and put us up for 2 nights. It was an incredible experience sharing about all GOD has done for us the last month.

I will say of the LORD, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust” Psalm 91:2, (NIV).

See Compassion 575 for more information and the opportunity to change the life of a child for only $9 a month or $108 a year.

Day 23 1/2- Ride – Nashville to Key West
(2,012 miles in 2012)

27 miles today, 2,012 total

We give God the glory for protecting us and giving us strength over this 2,012 mile bicycle ride. It is incredible to think of the miles the Lord has brought us over on this trail from Nashville to the most southern point of the USA, Key West, FL. The Lord gave us favorable conditions and it was a fun 27 mile ride. The Sciacchitanos and Whites from the White Stone CON are here. Sharon and I feel you are here as you have prayed us across these miles. Thank you so much. We are grateful for this opportunity to be a voice for the children in Nepal, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka.

“Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall;
but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint”
Is: 40:30-31, (NIV).

Day 23 – Ride – Nashville to Key West
(2,012 miles in 2012)

60.5 miles today, 1,985 total

God answered your prayers today and it was an incredible 60.5 mile ride for the children of South Asia. God protected us while riding in the traffic, on the bridges, and allowed us to have a flat tire on a short bridge instead of the 7 mile bridge. It is beautiful here in the Florida Keys.

Karen and Paul Sciacchitano and Mary and Tom White have flown down from Virginia. They greeted, cheered, and prayed for us as we passed Duck Key and actually have given us a room tonight and tomorrow night. It is incredible to have these wonderful friends here for the end of this ride. Their support is greatly appreciated.

We have 27 miles to ride in the morning to complete this 2,012 mile bicycle ride. “You are the God who performs miracles; you display your power among the peoples” Psalm 77:14, (NIV).

Day 22 – Ride – Nashville to Key West
(2,012 miles in 2012)

112.5 miles today, 1,924.5 total

God did something incredible today. We were blessed with strength and favorable wind. The worship, preaching, praising, and praying service yesterday at the Lauderdale Manor CON was a spiritual renewal for me and Sharon (mission control).

The miles ridden today are given to God as an offering for the children in South Asia and in honor of an anonymous teen that sacrificially gave $1,125 to provide hope for children in Nepal, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka.

We are thankful to be in the Florida Keys and actually plan to ride Tuesday and 1/2 day on Wednesday. For all the people that have given and prayed, we are so grateful. “The LORD has done this, and it is marvelous in our eyes” Psalm 118:23, (NIV).
