New Theme?

If the people of the culture of the USA/Canada grow weary of something, they just ‘change the channel’. (Reflected in the number of readers who stop by Transitions these days.) Because of this short attention span, most promoters will change themes on a regular basis. The theme, “Making Christ-like Disciples in the Nations” is a really great one. Nazarene Missions International then added 4 divisions to the theme, “Making Christ-like Disciples in My Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, and to the ends of the earth” reflecting the statement of Christ at the beginning of the Book of Acts. After 4 years, is the theme no longer interesting to the people of the USA?

Is it wrong to think in terms of marketing and promotion when it comes to sharing the great things about our Church?

What theme do you propose for the next quadrenium?

Should each of the Regions be allowed to choose the method and theme for promoting the Church of the Nazarene?

What do  you think?
